Here are the IHSAA high school football sectional pairings for Southwestern Indiana
Who will each Southwestern Indiana team play in the IHSAA football sectional? Find out here.
EVANSVILLE — The Indiana High School Athletic Association will unveil the football sectional pairings through a blind draw tonight at IHSAATV.org, commencing at 6 p.m. CDT. The inaugural round of the state tournament is set for Friday, October 23, with Class 5A and 6A matches kicking off the following week. Presently, ten teams from the Evansville region are garnering votes in the USA Today Network Indiana media poll.
However, merely Heritage Hills (4A) and Gibson Southern (3A) progressed past the sectional stage last season, neither of which reached the state finals. This prompts the question of whether an area team will maintain their winning streak and extend their season into November. The Courier & Press sports staff will provide a comprehensive listing of all Southwestern Indiana brackets as they are announced. This report will be updated with insightful analyses of each Southwestern Indiana sectional draw.
