Haaland vows troubled Man City will 'stick together' after beating Liverpool
Erling Haaland said Manchester City's 3-0 win at 10-man Liverpool showed they will " stick together" after the club was found guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules.
Erling Haaland expressed confidence that Manchester City would stay united following their 3-0 victory over 10-man Liverpool at Anfield. The striker scored the opening goal, with Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki adding further strikes to silence the Liverpool fans. The win came after Manchester City was found guilty of breaching over 100 Premier League financial regulations.
City, appealing the decision, could face severe penalties, including potential relegation or title stripping. Haaland highlighted the team's resilience, stating that they are "proud of everyone" for maintaining their spirit in the face of the harsh verdict. Midfielder Elliot Anderson echoed Haaland's sentiments, praising the team's togetherness and courage during the challenging match.
