Tinubu to inaugurate APC campaign council October 14

On October 14, President Bola Tinubu is set to officially launch the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council as the country prepares for the 2027 general elections. The inauguration will be held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja and will be attended by key party figures including former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, and Dr. Betta Edu.

According to Yari, who briefed State House correspondents on the preparations, the campaign will kick off with a rally in Kaduna on October 24, followed by events in Port Harcourt and Maiduguri. The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has already begun grassroots mobilisation of women across the nation in collaboration with Dr. Betta Edu and other council members.

The goal is to mobilise 40 million women voters for the Tinubu–Shettima ticket through a strategy that covers 176,846 communities and polling units in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
