Napoli make initial contact for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee

Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee has recently attracted interest from Napoli, who are monitoring the striker closely. The Dutchman, who scored for his national team during the international break, has been the subject of negotiations between Napoli and Manchester United. While the discussions are still tentative, Napoli's interest in Zirkzee could develop further in the coming weeks.

Napoli's manager Max Allegri has shown a positive opinion about the striker, noting that he has not been impressed by Lorenzo Lucca, who has struggled since joining the club. Zirkzee could potentially replace Lucca at Napoli unless other clubs also express interest. The striker's career at Manchester United has stagnated, and he should be seeking an exit to become the centerpiece of a new project.

With his return to the national team, there is encouragement that Zirkzee could see more playing time at a new club.
