Tejashwi Yadav has no merit; he is desperate to become Bihar CM: alleges Independent MP Pappu Yadav

Independent MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, harshly criticized his Bihar Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) partner and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav. Mr. Ranjan accused Tejashwi Yadav of lacking merit and being desperate to become Chief Minister of Bihar. The Purnea MP further urged the Congress party to establish its separate identity in Bihar, independent of the RJD alliance.

Both Congress party leaders Rajesh Ram and Kishore Kumar Jha, shared the same sentiment, urging Congress to maintain its independence beyond the RJD's influence. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, a six-time MP with multiple constituencies under his belt, has been an Independent candidate in the 2024 elections, winning by a significant margin.

When questioned about the upcoming State legislative council elections, Mr. Ranjan asserted that Congress cannot show their capabilities to the RJD and must not disrespect the State Congress leaders.
