Russell Bedford ficha a un socio de EY para liderar 'due diligence'

Russell Bedford, a professional services firm, has bolstered its Madrid team by adding Oscar Mata as a partner in the Financial Advisory area. Mata will take charge of the Due Diligence team, focusing on financial analysis of corporate operations and supporting investors and partners in acquisition and divestiture processes.

Mata joins Russell Bedford from EY-Parthenon, where he spent the past seven years in the Strategy and Transactions department, specializing in due diligence processes. In that role, he led numerous transactions for venture capital funds and corporate clients, both domestic and international, and was responsible for teams and clients.

With 19 years of experience in the financial sector, Mata's background combines work at both advisory firms and in the corporate world. Before joining EY-Parthenon, he was part of Gestamp's Corporate Development department, participating in M&A operations and capital raising processes in public and private markets, including initial public offerings and bond issuances.

His career also includes time at Deloitte, where he spent nine years in the M&A Transaction Services department, focusing on financial due diligence and debt restructuring processes. The addition of Mata comes as Russell Bedford expands its team in Madrid, recently bolstered by two other partners from EY and KPMG.
