Razer has introduced two new gaming mice, the Basilisk V4 Pro and the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, alongside the updated Mouse Dock V2 Pro. The Basilisk V4 Pro maintains a similar design to its predecessor but includes several enhancements such as adjusted multi-function trigger positioning, additional customisable buttons, and an improved HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 with a higher Precision Tactile mode.
The mouse weighs 12g less than its predecessor and features a special Smart-Reel function that adjusts between scroll modes based on speed. It also includes a Virtual Acceleration feature in the Synapse software for further customisation. Powered by a Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3 and Razer's Hyperspeed Wireless Gen-2, the Basilisk V4 Pro offers up to 50,000 DPI tracking and a 275-hour battery life when connected via Bluetooth 6.2.
The Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, however, is a more budget-friendly option with a lower weight of 94g. It features a Focus X 33K Optical Sensor Gen-3, a four-way tilt wheel with tactile and free-spin scrolling, and a 140-hour battery life via HyperSpeed Wireless or up to 225 hours when connected via Bluetooth.
