The report explores the development of BiodataMaker.org, a modern, privacy-focused platform for creating matrimonial biodata and wedding invites using Next.js 16 and Cloudflare Edge. Traditional methods like clunky Word templates, scammy websites with account requirements, and outdated ad-infested portals inspired the creation of a fast, modern alternative.
The platform's architecture and tech stack include Next.js 16 for instant page routing and React 19 compiler, Tailwind CSS for styling, Firebase Auth for authentication, and Cloud Firestore for real-time multi-device synchronization. Cloudflare R2 is used for asset storage, and Cloudflare Pages handles hosting and edge delivery.
The PDF generation process is client-side, utilizing html2canvas-pro + jsPDF, with an image inline pipeline that avoids CORS canvas tainting issues. The website features 13 luxury themes, four exclusive 2-page booklets, and tools for creating digital wedding invitations, PDF mergers, and photo attachments. The live demo can be accessed without account creation, emphasizing the platform's zero-forced signups approach.
