PLUS to close Bangi Toll Plaza road shoulder for widening works until June 2027

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — The road shoulder following the exit lane of the Bangi Toll Plaza towards Bandar Baru Bangi will be temporarily closed by PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) from today until June 28, 2027, for road widening works. According to a statement released by PLUS today, the eight-month project is part of the company's continuous efforts to enhance highway facilities and improve users' comfort.

The closure will only be enforced during off-peak hours, between 10 pm and 5:30 am, to minimize disruption to traffic flow in the vicinity. Drivers traveling through the region are instructed to drive cautiously, adhere to safety signage and designated speed limits, and follow directives from site personnel. Travelers are also urged to plan their trips and stay updated on the latest traffic information via the PLUS app, the company's official social media channels, including its X account @plustrafik, and electronic message signs (VMS) at strategic locations.
