Corsair Launches HS80 v2 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset; Arriving By Mid-November

Corsair has introduced the HS80 v2 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset, an enhanced iteration of its HS80 MAX. The new model prioritizes superior audio quality, microphone performance, comfort, and extended battery life for competitive gaming. Key features include upgraded 50mm non-Newtonian laminate drivers to minimize vibrations in the diaphragm, delivering clearer quieter audio cues such as footsteps and weapon reloads.

The headset also offers potent bass, sharp highs, and full-range audio. PC gamers can leverage Dolby Atmos spatial audio for a 3D sound experience, which necessitates the Dolby Access app and is exclusive to PC. The headset boasts an improved 10mm microphone capsule, providing broadcast-grade audio quality and a pop filter to minimize unwanted sounds.

Players with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards can utilize NVIDIA Broadcast’s AI-powered microphone enhancements to reduce background noise. Corsair’s iCUE software enables custom equalizer settings, pre-tuned audio profiles, and RGB lighting customization. The HS80 v2 MAX offers both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling simultaneous use with multiple devices.

With a robust aluminium frame, breathable fabric-covered memory foam ear cushions, and a floating adjustable headband, the headset is designed for long gaming sessions. Battery life extends up to 110 hours over 2.4GHz wireless or 130 hours over Bluetooth, with lighting disabled. Charging for 15 minutes yields approximately six hours of playtime.

Priced at RM939 in Malaysia, the HS80 v2 MAX will be available from mid-November with a two-year warranty.
