Die EH-55-Förderung ist ein wichtiger Grundpfeiler bei der Bauplanung. Von Seiten des Bauministeriums gibt es jetzt Planungssicherheit. Wer davon profitieren will, muss allerdings schnell sein.

Baufinanzierung: Bundesregierung stockt wichtige Förderung für Neubauhäuser auf

Berlin's Ministry of Construction has increased funding for the development of energy-efficient buildings. The demand for the EH-55-Plus assistance program has risen significantly in recent months, so the ministry is providing additional funds, said Minister Verena Hubertz from the SPD party. The original budget of 800 million euros would have been exhausted by the end of the year otherwise.

According to the ministry, around 52,100 apartments are now under construction, which were already approved but not built since the start of the program last year. The assistance is provided through interest-bearing loans from KfW. Besides the standard EH 55, the heat must be generated from 100 percent renewable sources. Houses with oil or gas heating are excluded.

An application for the subsidy must already include a building permit. Applications are possible until the subsidy exhausts - no later than the end of the year.
