In the dramatic final game of the American League Division Series, the Chicago White Sox suffered a heartbreaking 9-5 loss to the Cleveland Guardians, forcing them to continue their playoff run away from home. The loss came as manager Will Venable had to make tough decisions about his pitching staff, as both Grant Taylor and Jordan Hicks were unable to deliver in the crucial sixth inning.

Sean Burke, the right-handed ace, will take the mound in Game 5, with the Sox's confidence in his abilities running high.
Historical precedent suggests that winning three games on the road is statistically unlikely for the Guardians, giving the White Sox a fighting chance to reverse their fortunes and advance to the ALCS.
