What is Crazy Horse Paris? Famous French cabaret show to open in Dubai

Crazy Horse Paris, one of France's most renowned cabaret shows, is set to debut in Dubai, bringing its unique blend of dance, music, lighting, and theatrical illusions to the Middle East for the first time. The production will open at Zabeel Theatre on Palm Jumeirah on November 12, with ticket prices starting at Dh400. The Dubai Edition of the show is a specially adapted version of the Parisian institution, designed to suit the regional culture and customs.

Performances will take place in an intimate 200-seat venue at Zabeel Theatre, offering a 90-minute show or an extended option with dinner for three hours.

Crazy Horse Paris was founded in 1951 by Alain Bernardin, known for its sensual and highly stylized approach to dance. Unlike traditional cabaret performances, Crazy Horse focuses on choreography, optical illusions, and the interplay between light and movement, often featuring artistic nudity. The show has been a staple of Parisian nightlife for decades, attracting international visitors and collaborating with celebrities like Beyoncé and Christian Louboutin.

The Dubai production will feature 18 international dancers, who underwent six months of specialized training in Paris before joining the Dubai cast. Andree Deissenberg, the chief creative and brand officer, will oversee the production, aiming to create a show that remains true to Crazy Horse Paris while introducing elements tailored for the Dubai audience. The extent of the adaptation regarding the show's more revealing performances remains undisclosed.

Ticket prices for The Show start at Dh400, while The Show & Dinner experience, which includes a three-course meal, begins at Dh900. The production will run daily, starting at 7pm with The Show and 9pm for The Show & Dinner. Admission is restricted to guests aged 21 and above.
