Elecom's PDT-L080BPBK USB-C dock stands out with a large rotary dial and programmable keys atop its standard 8-in-1 functionality. This unconventional design transforms the usually hidden docking station into a user-friendly accessory. Elecom, known for innovative peripherals like M.A.P.P. mouse and IST trackball, offers a range of features including USB-C, USB-A ports, HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, card slots, 3.5mm headset jack, and a USB-C Power Delivery input.
The device's user-friendly features such as four programmable shortcut buttons and the rotary dial cater to various professional needs like adjusting volume, zooming, or triggering keyboard shortcuts. The dock is controlled through Elecom Mouse Assistant and is designed to work seamlessly with Windows 10 and 11, as well as macOS Tahoe 26.
Priced at $87, the DST-L080BPBK is set to hit Japanese markets this month, with no international availability announced yet.
