Asus ZenDrive external DVD writer gets a 16% discount at Amazon
This Asus ZenDrive external DVD burner supports Windows and Mac, includes USB-C connectivity, and costs less than $40.
Asus ZenDrive external DVD writer is currently discounted to $38 from its original price of $45 on Amazon. This compact accessory is designed for Windows laptops, Macs, or desktop PCs that still rely on optical drives for various tasks such as reading discs, burning backups, or accessing older software and media.
The ZenDrive Black External DVD Burner supports DVD reading and writing at up to 8x speed, and CDs at up to 24x. It also includes M-DISC support for long-term data preservation of items like photographs, family videos, and important documents. The drive features Disc Encryption II, providing password protection and hidden-file functionality for supported disc-writing tasks.
Compatible with both USB-A and USB-C connections, it works seamlessly with Windows and Mac systems. Additionally, the ZenDrive comes with both USB 2.0 and USB Type-C cables for easy connection to compatible devices without the need for a separate adapter.
While the discount may not be significant in dollar terms, it brings the price below $40, which is still a good deal considering the drive's functionality. However, it's worth noting that this product is not the cheapest it has ever been, with prices dropping as low as $30 in 2021. If you still have physical discs, this Asus ZenDrive external DVD burner offers a straightforward solution without the need to replace your computer or install additional hardware.
