This new app promises to bring Netflix to Android Auto
Would you watch Netflix in your car? This new Android Auto app wants to make it possible.
A new Android Auto app called Velvet Launcher has been released, promising to bring Netflix content to the platform. The app, developed by an unknown creator, launches a specialized version of the Chrome browser within Android Auto. This browser functions similarly to its desktop counterpart, allowing users to access Netflix and other media.
According to the app's developer, Velvet Launcher can be used to stream videos on Android Auto. While other apps like Xtream Player have added support for Plex Live TV and improved YouTube playback, they are unable to provide access to Netflix content. Velvet Launcher fills this gap by enabling users to enjoy their Netflix shows through the app.
