NFL Quarter-Season Awards: Kenneth Walker III of the Kansas City Chiefs leads the quarter-season awards ballot as the MVP, despite the usual trend of quarterbacks leading this category. The 49ers' Brock Purdy and Bills' Josh Allen are close behind in the MVP race. The Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the unanimous choice for Offensive Player of the Year, outshining CeeDee Lamb and Bijan Robinson.
The Texans' Will Anderson Jr. is the leading contender for Defensive Player of the Year, despite his team's 0-4 record. Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak is also making waves, as his team has turned the season around and sits in the first playoff spot in the AFC.
