GCL-Coed teams swap places in new Cincinnati volleyball power rankings

Cincinnati's girls volleyball teams have been surprising this season. While the city's power rankings haven't changed much, there's still the chance for a big shakeup as the top teams face each other later in the regular season. Here are the top 10 teams in Greater Cincinnati:

10. St. Ursula Bulldogs - They've won key matches over Mercy McAuley and Sycamore but still have some tough opponents coming up, like CHCA on October 8.

9. St. Henry Crusaders - After a disappointing loss to Beechwood, St. Henry has some challenging matches ahead, including games against Mercy, Ursuline, and Fenwick.

8. Notre Dame Pandas - Despite losing to top-tier Chicago teams, Notre Dame has won eight straight games against in-state opponents. They'll face tough Kentucky teams next in their schedule.

7. Kings Knights - With an 11-match winning streak, the Kings have dominated Milford recently and will face intense competition over the next couple of weeks.

6. CHCA Eagles - After a tough loss to Harrison, the Eagles rebounded by beating Fenwick. They'll be busy with games against Cincinnati Country Day, St. Ursula, and Notre Dame.

5. Ursuline Lions - Ursuline is on a five-match winning streak, including a big win against McNicholas. Jillian Forrest, Kelsey Green, and Willow Smith have been a standout force for the Lions.

4. Beechwood Tigers - Beechwood recently took down St. Henry and won the Jefferson County Invitational Tournament. They'll face a tough Notre Dame challenge next on October 10.

3. McNicholas Rockets - After a loss to Ursuline, McNicholas is determined to rebound. Their upcoming matches include a game against Mercy McAuley on October 8.

2. Fenwick Falcons - The Falcons have been serving well and are ready for the postseason. They'll face Mount Notre Dame on October 8.

1. Seton Saints - With a perfect 19-0 record, the Saints have had a break after a busy month of play. They look poised to continue dominating the remainder of the regular season.
