Mobeni Heights murder accused was 'bef*k' on the day of double killing, neighbour tells court
A neighbour told the Durban Magistrate’s Court that Wassim Kudoos appeared agitated and “not in his normal senses” after allegedly shooting two men in October 2025.
A neighbour testified that Wassim Kudoos appeared "bef*k" and not in his normal state of mind on the day of the double murder in October 2025. According to state witness Penelope Singh, Kudoos, 33, was accused of shooting his gardener, Mzikayise Paulos Mabida, 54, and a barber, Mahmudel Sajid, 38. Kudoos allegedly shot Sajid at his salon in Bayview and then returned to his Mobeni Heights home, where he shot Mabida on the driveway.
Singh said Kudoos appeared agitated and was shaking his legs and banging his hand on the sofa when she spoke to him. She also described him as babbling and insulting his parents. Kudoos had not seen Singh in over ten years before the incident.
