Xbox Reportedly Secures Exclusive Cloud Streaming Rights to GTA 6, Could Make Game Playable on PC at Launch

Xbox has reportedly secured exclusive streaming rights to GTA 6, potentially allowing the game to be playable on PC at launch through cloud streaming. While this doesn't necessitate an Xbox console, Xbox offers cloud streaming access on various devices, such as PC, smart TVs, and mobile devices. Xbox's cloud streaming service will reportedly begin with the game's November release, though the duration of this arrangement is unknown.

If this true, PC players would be able to play GTA 6 via cloud streaming, albeit without the performance, modding, and other unique features of a native PC version. This development could provide a viable alternative for those unable to wait for Rockstar's PC port. Microsoft has recently altered Game Pass subscription hours, but pay-as-you-go plans are set to launch in November, potentially enabling users without console access to pay for temporary streaming access to GTA 6. Rockstar Games and Xbox have been contacted for comment on this matter.
