Samsung is bringing Android 17-based One UI 9 to another wave of Galaxy flagships
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are joining the Android 17 rollout too.
Samsung is expanding its Android 17-based One UI 9 update to additional Galaxy flagship devices following its successful rollout in South Korea. The Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are now receiving the stable One UI 9 update. Users in South Korea can download a relatively small 500MB over-the-air update, while those outside the beta program will have to deal with a significantly larger 3.8GB download.
Samsung's rollout of One UI 9 is moving backward through its flagship lineup, reaching the Galaxy S24 series after previously updating the Galaxy S26 series and more recently the Galaxy S25 family and foldable devices. The update will soon be available to users in the US, Europe, and other markets once the initial Korean release is complete.
