The mutilated male corpse was discovered behind Monday Market in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State on Tuesday morning, according to community sources. The body was promptly reported to security personnel, who in turn alerted the police. Upon arriving at the scene, police personnel evacuated the corpse to General Hospital, where identification efforts were underway.
However, the identity of the deceased remains unclear due to the removal of sensitive organs such as ears, nose, and the private part. Panshak Rogo, a community source at the hospital, expressed concern over the desecration of the corpse and urged the public to report any information regarding missing persons to the Pankshin Police Station.
