Meet Alexis Wilkins, the country singer and political commentator engaged to FBI director Kash Patel

FBI director Kash Patel and country singer-turned-political commentator Alexis Wilkins have announced their engagement after three years of dating. The 46-year-old Patel and the 27-year-old Wilkins, who hails from Boston and grew up in Arkansas, are set to tie the knot following their engagement, which was announced on Sunday.

Wilkins, known for her conservative political commentary, has also made headlines due to her age difference with Patel and the use of government resources, such as Patel's trips on government jets for her performances and her Nashville residence. Patel's spokesperson confirmed that FBI agents strictly follow all Office of Management and Budget rules related to personal travel, and Wilkins did not provide additional comments to Business Insider.

Born in Boston and raised in Arkansas, Wilkins spent time in England, Switzerland, and Los Angeles. She attended Belmont University, where she earned a BBA in business administration and management in 2020. Despite receiving an F in a comparative politics class due to her conservative views, Wilkins successfully advocated for the grade to be changed.

She then went on to work with various conservative organizations, including PragerU, The National Rifle Association, Independent Women, and Real American Freestyle Wrestling, as well as serving as a board committee member at the NRA and a visiting fellow at Independent Women.
