World Teachers’ Day 2026
To celebrate World Teachers’ Day 2026, educators share their stories about how they use tech in the classroom.
This World Teachers' Day, educators from around the globe are being celebrated in a special initiative. Teachers were invited to express in their own words how they manage day-to-day challenges and enrich students' learning experiences. These educators are effectively utilizing technology to help students grasp intricate concepts, design captivating lessons, and foster critical thinking.
At Google, they create educational tools in collaboration with teachers, ensuring that the role of educators remains paramount in the lives of their students, inspiring and mentoring them to achieve their full potential. Recognizing the significance of teacher stories, Google is teaming up with TED to launch a global idea search for educators who are pioneering technological innovations in education.
The aim is to amplify educator insights, ideas, and visions for the future of education, positioning them as key drivers in shaping the future. Those with the most compelling ideas will have the opportunity to present their talks at the TED stage. To be a part of this endeavor, educators can explore the stories below to learn how they can share their ideas with TED and Google by registering for the Idea Workshop.
