‘We were in love for 1.5 years’: Jason Sanjay on how his only relationship before Sigma ended

Jason Sanjay, director of Sigma and son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, has spoken about his past romantic relationship for the first time. The relationship, which occurred during his college years, lasted approximately one and a half years before a mutual breakup. Jason revealed this in a conversation with VJ Siddhu. The breakup took place while he was abroad, making the experience isolating and clarifying.

He coped with the heartbreak by listening to Yuvan Shankar Raja's love songs, and he chose to stay away from social media to avoid rekindling the romance. Jason stated that he is at peace with the relationship and its ending, emphasizing that both parties moved on with their lives. He then connected his personal life to his professional one, saying that after the breakup, he fully committed himself to making Sigma.
