Adeboye prayed for me, says Sowore after RCCG visit

African Action Congress presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore recounted his recent visit to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Lagos, Nigeria. Upon being introduced to the congregation during Sunday's National Thanksgiving Service, Sowore observed that the church members were filled with joy. Following the service, he had a private meeting with the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who offered to pray for him.

Adeboye expressed confidence in Sowore's path and his eventual triumph. Sowore emphasized that his visit was not intended to promote a political agenda, stating that he appreciated the warm reception from the church members. He highlighted a contrast between the cold and restrained response he received from officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) versus the enthusiastic reception he got from AAC members.
