We joined a beaver safari in London where the animals have been key to combat flooding

A colony of beavers was reintroduced into London to combat flooding at a railway station. The animals had been hunted to extinction in the city around 400 years ago, but three years after the Ealing Beaver Project brought them back, the industrious animals have created reservoirs to prevent floods nearby.
