Walmart Has the First GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Prebuilt Gaming PC Under $1,000 That I've Seen in Months
This is an excellent PC for 1080p gaming.
Walmart is currently offering a highly sought-after prebuilt gaming PC at an attractive price point. For a limited time, the MSI Codex Z2C RTX 5060 Ti gaming PC is available for just $999 with free shipping, marking the first time in months that a 5060 Ti equipped prebuilt has been found under the $1,000 threshold.
The MSI Codex Z2C gaming PC boasts impressive specifications, including an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The air-cooled AMD Ryzen 7 8700F is a powerful 8-core, 16-thread processor with a maximum boost clock of 5.1GHz, ensuring smooth performance for gaming enthusiasts.
At the heart of this gaming PC lies the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB graphics card, which stands out as the best 1080p GPU in a sub $1,000 prebuilt PC. This powerful GPU delivers a 20% performance boost over the RTX 4060 Ti, and the performance gap widens even further in games that support DLSS 4.5. However, it's important to note that with 8GB of VRAM, this model may struggle with more demanding games at 1440p resolution.
For gamers looking to experience titles like Control: Resonant or The Blood of Dawnwalker at 1440p, a higher-end GPU such as the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB or an RTX 5070 would be more suitable.
