LSU football vs Mississippi State's Oct. 17 kickoff time revealed
Here's when LSU football and Mississippi State will play on Saturday, Oct. 17 inside Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
Baton Rouge – For the first time under Lane Kiffin's tenure, LSU football will kick off their SEC game early. The Tigers will face Mississippi State at Tiger Stadium on Saturday, October 17, with the kickoff at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN. This marks a change from the team's previous six straight home games starting at 6 p.m. or later, including their opener against Kentucky on October 3.
Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor has been a standout player this season, leading the team in yards and touchdowns. The Bulldogs entered the rankings ahead of their game against Alabama after a recent victory over LSU. The long-standing rivalry between LSU and Mississippi State has not seen a game since 2023. Cory Diaz, covering the LSU Tigers for The Daily Advertiser as part of the USA TODAY Network, reported this development.
