Caleb Flynn Sentenced: Ashley Flynn's Mom Reads Letter From His Daughters
Relatives of a former "American Idol" contestant spoke in court as he was sentenced to life without possibility of parole.
Ashley Flynn's mother and sister read letters from her daughters during Caleb Flynn's sentencing hearing, refusing to let alleged wrongdoing "have the final word" in her story, according to WLWT. Caleb Flynn, 40, apologized to his family but maintained his innocence, stating he loved his two daughters, ages 12 and 10. Victim-impact statements were also delivered by Ashley's mother, sister, and brother-in-law.
Judge Jeannine Pratt admonished Flynn for using his faith to hide his deceit, saying he posed the highest risk of harm to the public.
