Watch & follow: Denmark suffer early injury against Wales in Nations League

Denmark are playing against Wales in the Nations League, aiming to bounce back from a loss to Portugal. Wales have made one change, recalling Brennan Johnson, while Denmark are without Mikkel Damsgaard. According to Yahoo Sports, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was forced off with an injury inside 10 minutes.

Denmark had won the reverse fixture 2-0. TechRadar reports that Portugal, the Nations League champions, recently beat Denmark 4-2, with Joao Felix scoring in that game. Portugal are looking to secure a place in the last eight of the 2026/27 competition with a win.

Wales, meanwhile, are coming off a win against Norway, in which Erling Haaland had only 11 touches in the first half. Norway are looking to bounce back from that loss, having only three points after their opening win over Denmark.
