Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has accepted a boxing challenge from fellow singer Teni. Teni, whose real name is Teniola Atinuke Apata, issued the challenge in a video on her Instagram page, proposing a fight purse of ₦1.5 billion, according to Punch.
In the video, Teni joked about beating Tiwa Savage and not looking at the face of Tiwa's son, Jamil, once the bell rang. She also promised to serenade Tiwa with her song 'My Darling' if she wins. Tiwa Savage responded by telling Teni to "pick a date" for the fight.
The challenge comes after a recent celebrity boxing match between Phyna and Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing.
