‘So we don’t end up in jail’: Kapil Sharma on why he watches younger comics

In a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix India, the cast of the action adventure fantasy film The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest praised Kapil Sharma and his team for their clean approach to comedy, particularly their roasting skills. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia noted that watching Kapil and co-star Maniesh Paul’s roasting had made her realize that comedy can be enjoyable for the entire family.

When asked about whether younger comics have learned from Kapil and Maniesh, the comedian jokingly said they are observing the younger kids to learn what not to say, emphasizing their goal is not to end up in jail. Sidharth Malhotra and Maniesh Paul also commended Kapil and his team for keeping the show free of abuses, highlighting it as a unique selling point of the series.

The film, co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever, has been a commercial success, grossing Rs 58.85 crore domestically within its first 10 days, making it the fifth highest-grossing film of Sidharth Malhotra's career.
