Ronaldo vs Messi: “Inexplicable talent, a gift from God’ – Pjanic picks better player

Former Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has opined that Lionel Messi is the superior footballer between Cristiano Ronaldo and himself. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 36-year-old Bosnian player praised Messi's talent, describing it as "inexplicable" and a "gift from God." Pjanic, reflecting on his career, recalled playing alongside both Messi and Ronaldo, both of whom he deemed exceptional.

Pjanic elaborated, "During my time playing, Messi and Ronaldo were among the most outstanding players I encountered. When it comes to choosing between these two, I opt for Messi." The player emphasized Messi's remarkable ability, stating, "His talent is inexplicable, it's as if it's a gift from God. While he does things that seem easy, they appear to be difficult for others." Pjanic also acknowledged Ronaldo's special status, saying, "Ronaldo is equally special."

Currently, Messi is active with Inter Miami in the United States, while Ronaldo is playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Together, the Argentinian and the Portuguese have garnered a combined total of 13 Ballon d'Or awards.
