Israeli passengers stranded in Dubai after flydubai suspended the route have finally arrived at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel. The passengers, who were on an Arkia Airlines flight, were the first to reach their destination since the suspension. The decision to suspend the route followed an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia on September 30, where the co-pilot allegedly attempted to crash the plane.
The incident occurred as the flydubai flight, carrying 180 Israeli passengers, was en route from Dubai to Ben Gurion Airport. The passengers were eventually flown to Israel on an Arkia Airlines flight, marking the first repatriation since the route was halted.
