UM universiti pertama dapat akses ILMUcode

Universiti Malaya (UM) has become the first university in Malaysia to gain access to ILMUcode, an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) coding platform developed by YTL AI Labs. On the occasion of the platform's launch, UM's Deputy Chancellor, Noor Azuan Abu Osman, expressed pride in being the pioneering institution to provide its computer science students with access to the cutting-edge AI coding capabilities offered by ILMUcode.

Through this initiative, 800 first-year students in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology will receive a monthly RM100 grant for three months, allowing them to utilize up to RM300 to explore and develop projects via the platform. ILMUcode combines AI-powered coding assistants with the ILMU-GLM-5.3 model, developed in collaboration with Z.ai, to help users write, edit, solve problems, and build software.

YTL AI Labs' Executive Vice President, Foong Chee Mun, stated that by launching ILMUcode, the company is preparing Malaysia's population with state-of-the-art AI not only for everyday use but also for building AI-driven solutions and contributing to Malaysia's aspiration to become an AI nation. ILMUcode is part of YTL AI Labs' AI portfolio, which includes ILMUclaw, enabling users to build autonomous AI agents, and ILMUchat, a conversational AI platform.

The platform is now available to developers, students, and anyone interested in exploring software development.

  • Nginx serves as a static server, delivering HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and images directly from disk.
  • Handles TLS encryption, routing, and static file delivery, complementing application server's role.

  • Use cp -r for basic directory copy, preserving directory tree structure
  • Include dot for hidden files in source path when copying with cp -r
  • Use cp -a for metadata preservation, symbolic link handling in cp
