Sesi persekolahan 2027 mula 4 Jan

The Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM) announced the academic calendar 2027 for national and government-aided schools, which will commence on January 4, 2027, and end on December 2, 2027, for schools in Group A states, and from January 4, 2027, to December 3, 2027, for schools in Group B states. Group A states consist of Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu, while Group B states include Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory, Labuan Federal Territory, and Putrajaya Federal Territory.

KPM also coordinated the dates for holiday periods throughout the 2027 academic year, including the celebration of Hari Raya Puasa, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Martyrs' Day, Kaamatan Festival, Gawai Dayak Festival, Wesak Day, and Christmas. The ministry emphasized that all schools must adhere to the additional holiday provisions by KPM for the main celebrations of Hari Raya Puasa, Chinese New Year, Martyrs' Day, Wesak Day, and Deepavali.

These additional holiday provisions will not be altered, according to KPM in a recent statement. KPM stated that the unification effort aims to ensure the seamless commencement of the 2028 academic session nationwide and facilitate more consistent and efficient planning of school administration and teaching-learning activities.
