CelcomDigi Announces Three Programs As Part Of Next Phase Of CD:NXT

CelcomDigi has unveiled the next phase of its CD:NXT talent development initiative, aimed at nurturing Malaysia's digital leaders for the future. This long-term effort focuses on three key programs and initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the digital economy and align with Malaysia's long-term education goals under the Rancangan Pendidikan Tinggi Malaysia (RPTM) 2026 – 2035.

The first program, "campus@celcomdigi," is a pioneering initiative that bridges classroom learning with industry experience. Second-year students from partner universities take on real business challenges as part of their coursework, receiving ongoing mentorship from industry practitioners. Selected final-year students then participate in industry residencies at CelcomDigi's on-site campus at its headquarters.

Currently, the program partners with four universities - Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), and HELP University - and aims to expand to more institutions, reaching over 300 students annually.

The second program, the Young Talent Program (YTP), is a two-year leadership and career acceleration track specifically designed for high-potential graduates. This program builds critical future-ready skills through rotational assignments, mentorship, and hands-on involvement in strategic business projects. In its second year, the program welcomed its second batch of 20 candidates who are now going through the program across disciplines such as Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data & Business Analytics, Digital Product Development, and AI & Automation.

Finally, the Certification program offers immersive learning opportunities in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), extended reality (XR), and more. This initiative caters to school and university students as well as working professionals, ensuring they are well-equipped for the digital economy.
