Browns QB Deshaun Watson’s return to ‘form’ has caught Little Steven’s attention

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's recent return to form has caught the attention of Little Steven Van Zandt, Bruce Springsteen's guitarist. During a Thursday Night Football game, Van Zandt expressed his amazement at Watson's performance on X, formerly Twitter. "I want to know what's gotten into Deshaun Watson?" he wrote, noting that the team's recent upset win over the Green Bay Packers had him back to his previous level.

Following the Browns' 27-24 victory over the Steelers, Van Zandt added, "Good game." Watson has led the Browns to a 3-1 record, currently holding sole possession of first place in the AFC North. After a disappointing Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team has won three straight games, including narrow victories over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, and Steelers.

Watson has thrown for 855 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions, completing over 69% of his passes, and has also contributed 127 rushing yards. This unexpected resurgence for Watson is particularly notable given his troubled past with sexual assault allegations that led to his suspension in 2021 and 2022.
