yoDEV Decisions: Compare Jev with GPT, Gemini, Claude or any LLM with your own data
yoDEV has launched yoDEV Decisions, a free tool for its members that compares the performance of Jev and a chosen Large Language Model (LLM) in terms of accuracy, calibration, cost, and latency. The tool, which uses OpenRouter for LLM connections, has produced initial results comparing Jev with four popular LLMs - GPT-4o mini, Gemini 2.5 Flash, Claude Haiku 4.5, and Llama 3.3 70B - across four datasets.
Jev was found to be the most cost-effective and had comparable accuracy to the LLMs, with a median latency of around 250ms, while the LLMs took between 1 and 2.3 seconds. The tool also allows users to test with their own data and recommends a combined strategy of using Jev and an LLM to achieve optimal results.
