University of Seoul's Extracurricular Festa offers hands-on extracurricular experiences

The University of Seoul inaugurated its 6th Extracurricular Festa on September 22, providing students with hands-on experiences of various extracurricular programs. The university referred to the event as its flagship extracurricular education festival, aiming to offer students firsthand exposure to a wide array of extracurricular activities and enable them to showcase their accomplishments.

Won Yong-kul, the university's president, expressed the institution's commitment to enhancing its extracurricular programs, enabling students to take the lead in their learning journey and acquire practical skills. "We will continue to strengthen our extracurricular programs so that students can take initiative in their learning and gain practical experience," he stated. "We will do our utmost to establish a student-centered education system."

This year's Extracurricular Festa comprised promotional and interactive booths catering to diverse extracurricular programs, an awards ceremony honoring students' achievements in extracurricular activities, and a prize draw for attendees of the booths. A total of twenty booths were set up to enable students to explore numerous domains, encompassing academic majors, potential career paths, employment opportunities, and personal growth.

One of the highlighted booths promoted Seoul Software Academy University Plus, a subsidiary of the university offering specialized software training programs for students.
