The University of Seoul recently hosted its 6th Extracurricular Festa, providing students with hands-on experiences of various extracurricular programs on campus. As an annual event, this festival is the university's flagship extracurricular education celebration, which allows students to engage directly with diverse extracurricular activities and showcase their accomplishments.
Won Yong-kul, the university president, emphasized the importance of strengthening extracurricular programs to empower students to take charge of their learning and gain practical experience. He also committed to establishing a student-centered education system.
This year, the Extracurricular Festa presented promotional and interactive booths for various extracurricular programs, an awards ceremony honoring outstanding achievements in extracurricular activities, and a prize drawing for students who visited the booths. A total of twenty booths were set up, enabling students to explore a broad spectrum of areas, including academic majors, career paths, employment opportunities, and personal development.
One of the prominent booths featured Seoul Software Academy University Plus, an institution dedicated to providing software education and training to students.
