In Mechanicville's 9-0 Wasaren League win over Greenwich, Pitts completed a hat trick in the game's first two minutes and 23 seconds.
Mechanicville girls' soccer star Gianna Pitts scored a remarkable hat trick in the first two minutes and 23 seconds of Wednesday's game against Greenwich. This astonishing performance left coach George Dudas stunned, as he had never seen anything like it in his nearly 37 years of coaching. Despite missing her initial shot, Pitts quickly regained her rhythm and scored three goals within a span of 69 seconds.
After the hat trick, Dudas moved Pitts from forward to midfield, but she still managed to find the back of the net again in the second half. This hat trick brought Pitts' season total to 20 goals, bringing her career total to just six goals away from the 100-goal mark.
