Iona Confirms Divorce From Husband

Iona Reine Singer has announced the dissolution of her marriage to Pastor Nana Kwame Okrah, though she remains open to the prospect of future matrimony. The couple exchanged vows in January 2024, and Singer disclosed that their union endured for two years before coming to an end. In an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, she expressed her intention to marry again, stating, "I will marry again and in fact, I will marry as many, even if it means marrying 10 times to find the right man."

Singer emphasized that her experience has taught her that there is no foolproof formula for a lasting marriage, noting that even couples who have been together for years, pray, and meticulously research their partners can still face divorce. She refrained from divulging the specifics of her marital breakdown, labeling it a private matter.

Additionally, Singer revealed that she continues to wear her wedding ring as a deterrent against unwanted advances from men, stating, "I'm still wearing my ring to protect me from certain scorpions so that when they see me in town, they won't bother to approach me."
