3 under-the-radar Eagles who could swing Week 4 vs. Rams

When considering X-factors for the Philadelphia Eagles, names like Britain Covey, Will Shipley, Jalyx Hunt, and Makai Lemon might not immediately come to mind. However, these under-the-radar players could very well be the key to a Philadelphia victory against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.

Britain Covey, currently on the practice squad, could potentially make a significant impact as a punt returner. If the offense gains momentum and the game remains competitive, Covey's return skills could be crucial. In their previous meeting, Jordan Davis' blocked field goal proved that anything can happen on special teams, and Covey's return potential shouldn't be overlooked.

Jalyx Hunt, the Eagles' defensive standout, might not be generating the same numbers as last season. However, his ability to lead the team in both sacks and interceptions last year makes him a valuable asset, even if his production has been limited this year. After Jonathan Greenard's return, the Eagles' defense has struggled, and Hunt's presence could provide some much-needed defensive spark.

Will Shipley, primarily a kick returner, hasn't been heavily featured in the offense. His role seems limited to special teams, but the unpredictability of special teams performances means he could potentially make a big play, just as his two blocked field goals last season showcased.

Finally, Makai Lemon, a first-round draft pick, hasn't received as much attention in recent weeks. However, his connection to the Eagles has been positive. Lemon has shown he can make impactful plays on passing plays, catching three passes for 29 yards in Week 3. If he can continue to improve, he might just be the breakout performer Eagles fans have been hoping for.
