World : Malaysia Strongly Condemns The Latest Zionist Israeli Incursion Into Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 — Malaysia vehemently denounced the recent breach into the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East Jerusalem, which was carried out by over 1,000 Israeli settlers and high-ranking officials, guided by Israel’s national security minister, on Sept 28. On Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry, also known as Wisma Putra, emphasized that these repeated incursions represent a grave breach of international law, alongside the established historical and legal status quo of occupied East Jerusalem and Al-Haram Al-Sharif.

The ministry asserted that these actions are not mere isolated provocations, but rather a part of the Israeli Zionist regime’s persistent attempts to change the identity and nature of Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied East Jerusalem. Malaysia vehemently opposed these actions, reaffirming that the sanctity of Al-Haram Al-Sharif and the religious rights of Muslim worshippers must be fully respected and protected.

The Foreign Ministry called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to swiftly and decisively take measures to compel the Israeli Zionist regime to cease these deliberate and blatant violations immediately. Malaysia reiterated its steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their inalienable right to self-determination, and underscored its long-standing backing for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
