Vinicius Jr deserves ‘patience’ : Ancelotti

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has had a difficult start to the season, scoring only one goal in eight appearances across all competitions. However, Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his belief that the 26-year-old can still make a difference, even when he is off his game. Ancelotti, who previously coached Vinicius at Real Madrid, praised the forward as a key player for both the national team and Brazil.

He acknowledged that Vinicius is not at his best right now, but emphasized that the start of the season is only just beginning. Ancelotti highlighted Vinicius' contribution to Brazil's 4-2 friendly victory over Australia, where the forward scored the third goal and converted a penalty for the fourth. He stated that he will be patient with Vinicius, as he deserves it, and expects to see the forward return to his best form in due course. Brazil next face India in a friendly match in Kolkata on Saturday.
