After meeting with executives such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, and Jensen Huang, Trump announced the Joint Commitment On Frontier Responsibilities. Under this agreement, companies will implement robust internal processes to ensure their technology behaves as intended and promptly address any issues. They are also encouraged to partner with external auditors to monitor their controls and detect any unauthorized use of their models.

A board will be established to oversee the safety of AI tools, though the individuals appointed have not been disclosed. The agreement is voluntary, with no consequences for non-compliance or public disclosure of findings. Trump also emphasized the benefits of data center construction and his previous call to rename artificial intelligence to "superintelligence," an order instructing government departments to use the term in official communications.
