Seahawks star JSN outside top 10 on ESPN’s NFL 100 list for 2026

Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba appears destined to miss out on the top 10 on ESPN’s NFL 100 list for the 2026 season, according to the ESPN ranking. Smith-Njigba has had an impressive start to the current season, setting his sights on breaking the NFL’s single-season receiving yards record. Through just three weeks of play, he has amassed an astonishing 405 receiving yards, and has led the Seahawks to a 2-1 record.

ESPN’s Brady Henderson has praised Smith-Njigba’s performance, stating that his 1,793 receiving yards this season are the eighth most all-time. He also noted that Smith-Njigba is “all skill and no drama,” which is why Seattle didn’t hesitate to extend his contract in March. The Seahawks superstar’s dominance in training camp suggests that his encore to 2025 will be just as special.

Despite this glowing review, ESPN has ranked Smith-Njigba at No. 11 overall, with Justin Jefferson taking the final spot in the top 10. Jefferson, who had a down season in 2025 with the Minnesota Vikings, has 179 receiving yards on the season. However, Smith-Njigba is still on pace to outperform Jefferson and lead the Seahawks to another successful season.
