Qatar to participate in ‘Made in GCC 2026’ Forum and Exhibition

Doha, Qatar: Qatar will take part in the inaugural "Made in GCC 2026" Forum and Exhibition, organized by Bahrain from October 6-8, 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain. The event is under the patronage of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and the blessings of the GCC leaders.

The Qatar Ministry of Commerce and Industry will showcase its support for the industrial sector by joining the pavilion, along with entities such as the Qatar Development Bank, Manateq, and over 20 Qatari factories. This presence highlights the diverse industrial landscape in Qatar and aims to demonstrate the nation's products and industries.

This presence underscores Qatar's dedication to fostering industrial cooperation and integration among GCC states, sharing knowledge in manufacturing growth and advanced technology adoption, and identifying prospects for collaboration within Gulf value chains, especially in critical sectors like aluminium, plastics, cables, glass, pharmaceuticals, food products, and engineering.

The involvement also seeks to promote local products, increase their competitiveness in regional and global markets, and motivate the private sector to play a larger role in industrial development. This aligns with Qatar's economic diversification goals as outlined in Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Forum and Exhibition serve as a venue for forging new industrial partnerships, bolstered by the development of Qatar's production and export capabilities.
